Yikes..Alright. I may just bring them in once I see them with their eyes open and Take them out twice a day to be fed by Bunny Boy. I know she feeds twice a day. Early morning and in the evening. I know I definitely have to come up with a better plan for them. Could I use pine shavings/Hay and straw though for better insulation?Occasionally you may see them sampling stuff before their eyes open, but they typically start at about that time. And this gets a bit rough - what they usually start on is the nest material. With mine, I change out the nest material by 2 weeks, leaving them with only hay, no fur, because swallowing the hair can lead to a fatal blockage of the digestive system. With yours, I think you may just have to risk it, because your temperatures are cool enough they probably still need the fur in the nest for warmth. You might at least switch out anything that looks soiled, though.
Well I thought only 3 Bunnies but Bunny Boy had 5 adorable little stinkers. All are doing fantastic....How many baby rabbits do you have now?
