I didn't like asparagus until I had some fresh-picked form the garden and eaten raw. It's juicy and tender, not like the terribly twiggy and tough asparagus from the grocery store.

Homegrown, store-bought - doesn't matter. I hate it in every shape and form.

Yeah. I don't hate the stuff cause we can just get the fresh stuff. Heck, It even grows ON THE SIDE OF THE ROADS. But anything from the store...

No matter where it lives, or the deceiving appearances it takes, it never fools me, it still asparagus.
