cut a whole lemon almost in half and nuke for 1 minute and leave over night.

DS burnt a bag of popcorn a couple years ago. It was awful! Many methods were employed over the course of two weeks. We tried washing the interior with bleach water, baking soda sitting in it for days, amonia wash, and airing it outside.

Guess what finally got that smell out of my kitchen?
We moved the micro into DS's basement lair.
Yep. I replaced it because I felt he pretty much ruined it. Now that he has had it downstairs, nuking burritos (daily), I have to admit I don't notice the popcorn smell.
