Butchering Question

Hi, first time I'm gonna butcher probably later today. If I just want the breasts, wings,Thighs and legs. Can I just cut those parts off? Instead of dealing with the guts and lungs and such?

Yes,
After butchering, just make sure to rest for a day or two so rigor mortis can leave the muscles...or you will think your chewing rubber bands

Gratuitous story here.
My very first slaughter, was going to skin and preserve hackle and saddle feathers of a 10mo cockerel. This is when I first learned about lice, had no idea but he was crawling with them.
So partially skinned(which was way harder than I thought it would be) and got breast fillets, upper wings and leg/thighs...glad I had read about doing that. Tho the lice grossed me out, (oh, and all other birds were inspected and treated), was glad not to gut.
