He there! I have 3 Lavendar Orpington’s that are about to be a year old, and today I noticed one with a really bloody butt. She was in best box so I saw up close. I needed to wait for and extra hand to get home to help me, but in that time I let all my chickens out to wander and I noticed 2 more with the same thing. So, I got a clean spot to get them separated from flock ready and then distracted to wrangle one chicken at a time, starting with the worst one. Well, it’s pretty bad. I’m not sure if she will make it. Looks like she must have laid a large egg, slightly rip herself and then some chickens just went hardcore pecking her. I’m gonna actually pull her out with her 2 sisters and put her in a cage to keep her calm and I can keep better eye on would. I will start them all on antibiotic as well as the spray. Vitercyrin that is. I’ll post a photo of all 3 chickens. If any one can recommend anything else that be great. I can even email anyone that would like a video of all 3 wounds. My cousin has chickens too so I made the videos to ask her advice. I’m sure your might be the same, but I’ll take any to help my ladies out. Thanks
