Hi I rescued a hen this week. I'm in Australia. She's about 2yo. Prev owner said she's an Isa.

But she has a definite buttercup comb.

Thought maybe she's an Isa cross with something.

I know Sicilian Buttercups are rare. Are there any other breeds with buttercups please?

Please excuse her weight. She's thin and scruffy. I've only had her a few days. I will get her back to full health and weight really quickly. She was given to me because the other hens in her flock were picking badly on her, she obviously hasn't got her share. Also I found out prev owner has never held her much. Poor girl. I take in special needs hens, so she'll be spoilt here and in a very loving home.

Thoughts on breed pls?

As far as I'm aware and was taught Buttercups are the only breed with Buttercup combs. But her comb at that age I'd expect to maybe be bigger? Or maybe the hen we had just had a large one lol, either way the coloring is not standard to a Buttercup so I'd put my money on Buttercup Mix : D gorgeous little lady!
