As I said, I know the difference but I count horn combs as a type of buttercup combButtercup is allelic with, but recessive to duplex V. Duplex V is the allele D^v, while buttercup is the allele D^c.
I have two Polish hens but I have never hatched their eggs... I tried to last spring but they weren't fertilized so I did bother trying this spring.Do you have any history with any V-combed breeds in your flock?
