I haven't had my chickens through a winter yet. For those of you that have Buttercups, how does their laying do through the winter?

My buttercup hasn't laid in 4 or 5 days. In fact, it prompted me to keep a spreadsheet of who lays and what day, so I can track how they do through the winter. All my others will skip a day or 2, but not more than 2 days so far.

I would guess that Buttercups slow down in the winter. They're a smaller breed so it seems like they would. Not that I'm an expert or something!

I have three buttercups--one is going through a molt, and the other two are laying just fine.
