I have posted about my buttercups on here before.....but don't ever find much information on them, other than feathersite or places like that. I have two girls that came from TSC....they are just pretty as can be and seem to get prettier as they age.
They are just now getting their "cup" combs getting big and red. I don't have a cockerel for them regardless, but wondered if there was anyone on here familiar enough with them to tell quality? They are about 18-19 weeks old now, I believe, and appear to be getting ready to start laying any day now, judging by the comb. All close ups are the same bird. The other girl is a little behind in development of comb but coloring looks about the same. I know coming from TSC they are hatchery birds and therefore quality is questionable....but maybe it is just me having my "mom glasses" on....because I think they area prettier than a lot of buttercup pictures I find googling. They are small but still young and filling out more every day.
Anyone familiar enough with Buttercups to "judge" the girls?
