Buttermilk?

I know some give buttermilk and pumpkin seeds as a natural wormer.
I've got about a cup of buttermilk left over from my deep fried southern cooking the other night.
Is it okay to give my chooks this little bit of buttermilk as a treat?
The only dairy products I've ever given them is yogurt and cheese.

I used to love buttermilk, but have lost my taste for it. I don't want this to go to waste.

I don't see why you couldn't. Some of Glenda Haywood's recipes includes buttermilk. Maybe mix some of their feed with the buttermilk and give as a treat.
