I'm stopping for today, I'm exhausted. I may need another tarp, not sure how I'm goin to do the other two walls. Need to sleep on it.

I'm going to work on the north wall to start today (with the window). I removed the curtain, but need to wait for hubby to get up to help me.

Yesterday I had to work by myself and really overdid it. But thankfully, he's home today. I have an idea, and if it works I won't need to buy another tarp.

When do you estimate you will have it done and ready for birds?

I might even add some Society Finches later on.

That would be so cool. I've always wanted to do an aviary like that. Quail running on the bottom, and either finches, budgies, canaries, or cockatiels (or a mixture of two or more of them, lol) flying around the top

Not really sure, maybe next weekend. The thing is, the mulch bags are all wet, the outside dirt is all wet, and I assume if I go buy bags of dirt, they'll be all wet too.

I'm thinking I'll have to empty out a bag, spread it out, and put a fan on it to dry, then empty out another bag. That'll take a while.

I also have some ideas for decor that will take a while to make. Also, Christmas parties and family events are going to take some of my time.

I got a lot done today but nothing worth taking a picture of. I started a wall of poultry netting, using 100 zip ties and ran out. I sent hubby to get another pack.

I used several yards of brown duct tape, including every where the two backdrops met the tarp. I didn’t want a bird to fly up between the two and down the back of the tarp and get trapped.
