Button quail and heat lamps

Hi everyone!

I have a question about heat lamp.

Do they need a heat lamp through out their life?

My button quail will be Indoors in the basement. It usually is between 70°-65° during the winter months.

No, they don't need a heat lamp after 5-6wks

They are about to be moved there and was worried if it be too cold.

I can't imagine that would be too cold. Now, 40s and lower might be though.

Fully feathered button quail are typically good to +/- 40* in a draft-free enclosure, although I have acclimated in the past and had them survive temps below freezing outside aviary setting
