    Today I held my button quail (he's very tame and always let's me hold him) and I can hear him breathing very loud. Does he just have a cold? I'm a little worried.

    I'm sorry... I know nothing about quail at all. Best of luck. Maybe you can use the Search here on BYC for the symptoms and see if you can get some help that way, from other, older posts.
