  • I’m thinking Double Factor Blue Face & Red Breasted? The 3rd I’m thinking is Cinnamon? I’m a bit new to them, so any help is appreciated. Can they be sexed by color at this age, 5 days old.

One red breasted, one blue faced, one cinnamon.. Very cute! Buttons cannot be sexed by color until they get adult feathers (these come after the first ones) very cute!
High jacking this post because I’m located in chicagoland area and desperately looking for button quail! I had hoped to avoid incubating eggs(because as a duck mama I’ve read far too many scary stories on the boards that I’m certain every awful thing will happen when i attempt to hatch eggs) can someone help? Esp with a great place to purchase eggs, which (small, effective & affordable) incubator to use etc?

I am looking for an adult buttonquail hen right now:lol: I'll let you know if I find something in your area... I would highly recommend a brinsea incubator if you choose that route.
