Button Quail Egg Question

I was wanting to know how long it is before a button quail egg is

to old to be place in the incubator, becuse I know that bobwhite

eggs after one week have a less chance to hatch.

Friend had a hen lay then sit and hatch 16 so that was up to a 16 day old egg
My hen did 14
