I need help with fertility testing...are you game?
This would be for eggs to ship on Monday July 14th. I could potentially have ~ 40 eggs available for the price of shipping only. ($9.80 for priority flat rate box). I need help with this because
A) I need the practice shipping eggs, and
B) If I hatch any more, I may find myself sleeping in the chicken coop...
But I need to know what the fertility rate is.
These eggs are from colony-raised normal blue breasted males, red breasted hens, cinnamon red breasted males and hens. Here's a link that shows the Colors of the parents. They are the prettiest little birds.
If you want them, post "Sold" here, I can PM you with my PayPal info.
Great opportunity if you're looking for Buttons... this is my third week's worth of eggs, and the one egg I broke open from the first week's eggs had a chick in it. No guarantees, which is why they're free. All I ask is that you let me know how your hatch goes.
Incubation is just like chickens, except you stop turning at 14 days, and they hatch in 16 days. 6 weeks to maturity, and I believe I had 7 weeks to first fertile eggs.
I also have a few coturnix eggs available for testing, too... if you'd like them included just let me know.
