Button quail late hatch

Wow, it's the same

Anyway, thanks! (And it's great it has free shipping... The shipping is usually why I don't like buying things online sometimes)
Yeah same, it will be like $5.00 and then shipping bumps it up to $20.00 lol.

Check with the farm supply places by you. Here we have Jaxs and they carry Nutrena Nature Wise game bird for about $18 for 50 pounds. I just keep it in a 5 gallon bucket with a tight lid and it lasts for a year without getting bad. I have given some to a neighbor who has ducks, turkeys and peacocks and then I don't have to worry about it going bad. I have also put some into freezer baggies and kept it in the freezer, works well but right now my freezer is full so that's not an option. My local farm supply store said they would order me a bag so that might be an idea for you too. Good Luck.

Wow, I wish I had your feed bill, 50 pounds of 30% starter lasts about 10 days - 2 weeks here.
and i have food waste down to a science (its my biggest single loss).

QuailJailer I have one pair of button quail so 50 pounds is a ton to them! I go through about 100+pounds of wild bird seed every month though! lol

Well I usually break down and get a new bag every 8 months or so as it does get rather mashed in the bottom of the pail/bucket. But if they got as much as they wanted, and wasted it by dumping it all over, it would last about 6 months. I fill the food dish with about 1/3 cup or so every morning and sometimes they get more in the evening but not usually. I do feed about 3 tablespoons of fresh food everyday to supplement them. And fresh water twice a day in the summer. I use a regular pet bird water holder, cost about $3. Good luck with your little ones they grow so fast. Mine are just over 2 weeks now, I just have 2. So far they look like mom! I was kind of hoping for a pair but then again females are harder to come by so I should be able to find them new homes rather easy.

Thank you :D

It was hot today, and I found the temp at 107. I quickly took the eggs over to the sink and rinsed them with cold water (like I saw someone suggested) and put them back. I left the lid ajar to regulate the temperature, but it does horrific things to the humidity.
