My son has my phone as usual. Maybe I'll post some pics tonight when he is asleep or playing outside with his dad. I'll be sure to post my next hatch along if any of the ones from my current thread make it to adulthood and lay fertile eggs!

For button quail pairs. There’s 8 of them, 24 in in diameter so 2 sq ft. I know it should be bigger but Jodi Macdonald, a button quail author, wrote that a pair would be fine with 20 square inches of space.

I have a larger mesh enclosure that I tucked away somewhere and one that is arriving next week. For extra males probably. Also a dog kennel and this cage.

Found the above pic in my instagram. It was from about 4 years ago.

The below pic is of the accessories that I plan to put in each compartment. The dust bather that is arriving next week is larger. I’ll put soil and DE in them for them to dust bathe. And paper shavings, hay or straw on top of the puppy pads. I have each type in my shed and will experiment on which works best. Not going to use sand as it is too heavy. Not pine shavings again- too dusty.

Yay he has agreed to using his iPad for now.

This hamster dust bather I’m not sure if they will know how to jump out of. Will see.
