Donna - I am soooooooo happy with all the birds I got from you. I need to send you pics of my beautiful cuckoo Marans roo, but after collecting eggs tonight I couldn't resist taking a photo ( which is completely unedited except for the writing text to show which eggs are what), because those blue eggs are always so blue, they are INCREDIBLE!!!! And it seems like my girls are laying every day!!! Yay!!! And look at the colour of that olive egg.

Sure did!!! The ones I labelled are all yours. I have 3 from you that lay BEEEEEUUUUUTIFUL olive coloured eggs. The lighter greenish ones are from my own experiment with my production red roo and EE who lays a light green egg :).
 
I got 6 out of 9 eggs to hatch. All were pea-combed--and seemed to feather sex pretty well with the exception of one. I thought I had three girls and three boys, and one of the would be girls is going more red and I think it is a boy :) I kept 4 thinking I had 2 and 2 but I have Three boys and one girl I think.

I bought more eggs from this thread, I have 6 more SBEL's in to hatch 4/18, hopefully one more girl at least :) Love the chicks, excited to hear about the blue eggs everyone has gotten, I hope mine are blue :)

I have one SBEL girl with a straight comb and she still lays a blue egg like all her sisters.

Thanks for sharing your pics. Your dandelion weed is hysterical! Here are my two that I am thinking could be roos.... "Hettie" seems to be for sure.

And, Donna, you might recognize these 2 as well. Sally and Stella are the black and blue copper marans I got from you. If you remember, Stella was just barely out of her egg, but she made her trip back to Knoxville like a champ. She is such a sweet girl!!!! (She may be my favorite....)

Looks like 2 roos and a pullet to me.
