My ducklings have this shimmer in their feathers. This is actually a good thing! This shimmer shows great feather growth/hygine/care it is a wanted trait in this breed, but since this breed is so rare, it is rarely discussed. They look well cared for and happy. If I was you I would choose these ones to be in my breeding program. Lovely ducks!
