Buying a Scale

I don't think it is out of line to suggest google to someone who can't find a scale. If they can't find a scale, they haven't looked at all. Scales are for sale in nearly every store: grocery stores, hardware stores, discount stores, baby supply stores, sporting good stores, kitchen supply stores, and on and on.

A google search would turn up thousands of scales for sale. Amazon probably has hundreds of scales for sale just on their site alone. You have to admit that it is pretty lazy to ask BYC to locate a scale for you when they are available nearly everywhere you could possibly look.

Yes, I admit it pretty lazy except for one thing: Most scales you find are kitchen scales that only go to 5 or less pounds. I didn't realize I could use a fish scale or a baby scale until I read it on here. You'd have to know what you're looking for, for a Google search to work. I still say if all you want to say is "use Google" then don't bother. Now, if you say "Search Google for a baby scale" that is helpful.
