Buying chicks online

Hi,

I wanted to get some Australorp chicks online, since i dont have any locals sellers available.
I looked at Murray Hatchery and i have to order a minimum of 25 chicks!
Is there any other site that i dont have to order so many of them?
I wanted to just get 8 or 10 max.

Recommendations?

It depends on when in the year you want to get them as to the minimum order. Meyer hatchery is currently 15 minimum but will soon be a minimum of 3, once the weather warms up. My Pet Chicken offers lower minimums as well and their minimums are based on your zip code, the closer to their center in California the lower the minimums.

Good to know. I am trying them for the first time this year: mid April.

I only had one problem with them, they never sent me my tracking number for my chicks. But they arrived the day after the ship date. I can post pictures of the box they came in if you want.

If you order from McMurray in mid-April you can order 15. Check their availability chart!
