Buying Fertile Eggs

I had some in the brooder that's was around 2 week's old that I hatched. Went to TSC for food and seen some chicks I had to have. They were half the size of mine and a different color. BF walked past brooder 100 time's. He didn't even notice. I finally told him. He said oh how long have those been there.

I have that same problem. Hen hatched out 5.....we told him that she hatched out 5. slipped in 2 day olds and then 2 more a couple days later. He never noticed. Someone gave us 2 more (had to raise them seperate). so total of 11 and he still hasn't noticed.

I bought two dozen for the incubator. About a week before they showed up one of my hens started brooding. When the box arrived, I gave her 6. If a chicken could smile!!
