BWAA, HA, HA! You would think that after 15 years, the Hubs would know better than to dare me...

That's great Phoenixx! I'd love to see pictures of yours.

go for it! I did the same thing this year (with the obvious in front of my face!) as I am planning to get some goats next spring I was dithering as to where/how to house them....DUH! we have an old pig pen full of unused crap! This too will be cleaned out next spring and refurbished then viola! instant goat pen....just have to buy some goat proof fencing (ha ha if there is such a thing) and I am off to the races!!!

Lol. Sorry. I got sidetracked. The birds will have to wait for now. I have a sick dog and need to figure out how to pay her vet bill. Until then, here is my CLEAN shed. The next step is a new roof.

I'm also sorry about your dog. Hope the vet bill works its way to just a memory, and that your dog remains healthy for years to come.

No need to apologize, was just looking for a humorous way to let you know I still visit your thread. Good Luck

No worries gardendufas. Life has just been really busy. I have a feeling I'm going to have to put my dog to sleep. Her back legs appear to be paralyzed. She doesn't seem to be in any pain. I'm keeping her comfortable until the vet can see her. Three pm can't come soon enough.

Oh I'm so sorry. I just lost my 24yr old pony last week to something simmilar.
Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for them is to let them go, but hopefully you will find that there will be many more years with your furry friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. That's sad. I took Princess to the vet today. We think it's Valley Fever. the test is to expensive for me to get her. The vet gave her a steriod shot and pain pills. Her back legs aren't so stiff now, but she still can't use them. She's supposed to be resting, but the steriods gave her an energy boost and she won't lie still. On top of that, she lets me know when she has to pee, but she won't go when I take her outside. then she pees on me. I've had to change clothes five times today. My son told me that I need a poncho, lol. We are going to take it day by day at this point. If she gets worse or seems to be in pain then we'll think about putting her down. In the meantime, I'm looking into "natural" antilfungals. I'm hoping she'll eat garlic if I hide it in her food. I'm also going to try and get some kefir in her.
