Rushed and I messed up the beak. Unfortunately the more I use them the less I like Prismacolors, idk why (probably the fact I refuse to sit down and ACTUALLY LEARN how you use them) but they're not living up to the hype for me at all
Maybe the fact I only have a limited amount is also a factor...
The right paper really makes a difference with colored pencils. How many colors do you have? Because you can layer them to mix colors.

I got 12 to test before spending money on more.
With this particular picture while the photo looks otherwise, I couldn't get what was supposed to be a small amount of orange to blend into the yellow as I wanted it to... the beak also is a mess but I did add other pencils for colours I was missing.
I've been using coloured pencils, I even like using cheap $3 pencils, for years and I guess I just find these WAY too different.

Did you burnish the yellow? After you burnish you can't layer easily anymore because it smooths out the tooth of the paper.

True. I use a very thick type of paper and it allows me to get a lot more pigment on.

For Birds of Prey I drew a Harpy Eagle!!
I used fineliners and colored pencil.
