I thought we might need a separate thread to discuss issues related to the Android app.

If you've downloaded the app, and are experiencing problems, please include your device type and Android version. (There is no need to uninstall the app, your app will get updated automatically within about 24 hours of the fix being published). The known issues below will be kept current, so if you don't see your issue here, please report it.

Known Issues:
- Android (tablets only?): May need to press back button twice to exit embedded YouTube videos in full screen mode. I think this is actually by design, since the back button fades out while playing.
- Android 2.x: Cannot type in drop down search textbox. Seems to be a JavaScript incompatibility with older Androids. A work-around is to press the hardware SEARCH button on the device, which opens the full search page.
- Android (all versions): Ads at bottom do not open when touched. The way the links are setup to use JavaScript in frames will not allow them to open, probably by design for security reasons.

hi, I just lost a reply that I was quoting to 4 different quotes on in a thread when I clicked," preview."
I'm on a note 2 by Samsung. How could this have happened to me where I lost everything.?

Please advise me!

2) like the iPhone app I don't have a little box to click on for the byc expression faces. How do I access it with this mobile app? I do not know all the symbols for making some of the special by expressions, that are so wonderful to use.

Thanks in advance for any replies!! :D

I'm not sure what caused your app to close when quoting, but I'll run some tests.

I don't think the mobile version of the website shows emoticons, so if you want to use those you can switch it to desktop mode. You can do that in the app, just like in a browser, and the setting will stick until you change it back to Mobile.
