User name: Philter4
Years in the hobby: 38
Species I have kept: mainly marine right now, although I have specialized in Melanotaenia, goodeids, and oddballs
Experience: I have been in all aspects of the hobby, from a hobbyists, pet store employee, pet store owner, exotic animal breeder (mostly medium sized cats like servals and caracals and some endangered civets but not limited to those) researcher, collector, and distributor. I have travelled all over the world collecting fish for myself and my business, I still own a company that collects marine fish for public and private aquariums. I have contributed to both scientific and hobbyists publications as well as aided in the discovery of several species of fish that have never been collected or photographed alive, again mostly marine fish from deep water with specialized scuba gear.
I have done a lot of research, collecting for scientific purposes as well as for myself, I have collected in Madagascar, India, Borneo, Java, Sulawasi (where we discovered 3 new species of fish and one orchid) the islands off the coast of New Guinea, New Guinea proper and Australia. This does not even count all of the places I have been collecting marine fish. Photos of my fish and aquariums are in various publications as well, there have been photographers from all over the world who have come to my home to photograph different fish.
Here are some photos, I am not a very good photographer but some are ok. most are in my fish tanks but the first couple are in the ocean.

I have a lot more if anyone is interested, most of my freshwater photos are on slides because I have not been collecting or keeping many freshwater fish in the last 10 or 12 years.
