Here's what I'm working on right now. Takes me a while (a few weeks, sometimes a few months). I do everything by hand in Photoshop with a mouse, only using the paint, smudge, blur, burn and dodge tools.

P.S. If you view the first image directly it shows up a little more clear.

That is fantastic michiganwoods. I most definatly would not have the patience to do that. Or my computer would lock up at a bad time. Which would be bad at any time. LOL

Gee, I'd post two of mine if I could find the USB cable for the camera... I know it's around somewhere. I'll keep lookin'...

I attend a pottery class every week, and I used to make a lot of baskets. I don't do the baskets as much anymore. You run out of space to keep them and out of people who want them eventually! lol
Here are a few of my pottery pieces. I need to take pics of some of my newer stuff.

Yes, you are good at drawing! I often find a lot of us artists often don't think highly enough of our own work. But, that thinking does drive us to improve our work. Perhaps that is why we are so hard on ourselves.

Here's a current pencil sketch I'm doing. I plan on painting it in Photoshop in the near future.

There are a lot of talented artists here on BYC. I am impressed.

Thank you, birdnutz! It does take patience, yes. But well worth the effort. I started doing work like this when my kids wanted to decorate their rooms. I told them there was no sense in buying other people's art when I could make it myself. So I did and ended up with two pieces (an elf/dragon/unicorn piece and a fairy piece ) that are now in my iStock portfolio.
