BYC Art Club!!!!

Hey Guys! For my art final, I'm doing a series of drawings of embryonic development onto blown out goose eggs. Here's the first one. 15 day old embryo with yolk sac drawn onto a blown out goose egg
SO COOL
Two of my best edits, i took the picture of my falcon, and edited it, and i really liked the outcome!
Awesome! How do you do that?

All I can ever see in my work is the flaws, so getting comments like these always nice.

Thanks. I miss her so much... she really was my inspiration... I haven't been nearly as passionate about poetry or art since her death...
I can understand that. I stopped for 3 years when my grandmother died, she was my muse and much like you and your friend, she always thought everything that I did was the most AMAZING thing she had ever seen. My younger drawings, poems, and sketches were okay, but i do much better now. You know what I realized? When I take her memory and put THAT in my art...it is much more beautiful now. She is in all of my work! Everything I do is in memory of her and I know she smiles down at all of it in appreciation! Plus, I have new little muses now! 3 glorious children- They are what sparked my love again, because everything else died with my grandmother :*( I guess my point to all of this is, find a new muse... it could be a child, friend, animal, or even a fictional character! Then take all of the love you had for your friend and put her into all of your art. You will find that if you do this it will be much better work!

Lastly, never stop believing in YOU! YOU are your worst critic and even if you think your stuff is crap, the chances are less likely that everyone else does! And art, just like everything else you try in life, takes practice! You did not learn to write or walk or talk in a day, month, perhaps even a year...so why would anything else come so easy?! I have put many hours of painstaking practice into it, and I still have a great deal to learn... You must concentrate on a small part instead of the whole picture. What i mean is, if you wish to draw a face... practice for a month perfecting the eye, then once that is perfect, practice on making the nose, then mouth, then chin, then hair, then ears--- yes it may take you a year to do one piece, but it will be a perfect piece. Ask any true and professional artist if they complete a piece of art within a day, or even a week. Most art-- really good art== (other than maybe sketches, or photos) generally takes a while to finish! Took me 2 months to write those 4 pages you read the other day...just for example :) NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!

Quote: Aw... thanks, PeacockPrincess.... means a lot to me. I want to draw soo badly, that tonight, I plan to try to get a good outcome of a drawing. I will never stop trying! Thanks for the encouragement; if it weren't for you guys, I likely would have quit months ago! You guys are any artists' greatest tool! (If you get what I mean...; I'm not too good with words.)

I do lots of arts. So yeah, you will see art from me. :3 Don't have anything right now, but I'll post some of my art as soon as I can. All my past art is on my dA account~ Same as my username on here.

Here is some touch up work i did this week, just a reminder, these are not my pictures, i just edit them and send them back to the photographer, thats my job, so enjoy these touchups, PM me if youd like some of my older touchups!
