I know may christians that are divorced and re married. This a sin punishable by death in your religion and they will go to hell according to the bible.

Your statement seems to say that you think someone who 'sleeps around' or commits adultery can be killed? Is that what you are saying?

You have also ignored all the other bible verses I quotes, so I guess you think they are ok too.

Thats what makes religion scary and dangerous.

Why do you think without the bible we have a lawless world? We don't need religion to make laws. We can make them ourselves, as indeed many counties have.

American is a christian country, jet it has the highest percentage prison population in the world, couples with one of the highest gun crimes and murders.



I just like you all to take a closer look at you religion and beliefs, re examine the bible with a critical eye, and open up you minds. Its all too easy to brush things you don't understand or like under the carpet, and not think too much about weaknesses in the bible story.
 
Maybe you should go back and read more carefully, or get another Bible. Not all Bibles, unfortunately, are the same. A little respect would be helpful, too.

Actually don't bother to answer that one. It just shows how untrue the hole thing is.

I feel sorry for some people here.......we only have one life, and we need to make the most of it here and now, and not wast if dreaming about living in heaven.

If you like to have this relationship with an invasable man who talks to you in you own head, and tells you what to do and think, then good luck to you. But others would say this is a sign of mental illness.

And that's one of the problems I have with not just the Bible, but most other holy books. They become corrupted after a long while.

To really understand any religion you must study it, get into the believer's shoes, and try to read as many versions as possible to spot the similarities and differences. It's hard and tedious, yes, but it's worth it.
