The book did not end the way I thought.
Since the first feather appeared the day of the tour, I thought she was growing feathers in sympathy with the chickens and she would lose them once her father 'saw the light' and changed his practices.
I did not care for the book, but did like his choice of names.

I just finished this book. It was an entertaining read, but kinda strange. I think I'll check out his others.....I also like his choice of names.
