Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.
When the 6th and final short, strong downpour stopped yesterday, C and I walked out the door to go get the tractor battery and run a couple of errands. I have never seen so much water cascading over the bank down onto the gravel walkway and over the flagstones of the woodshed. It looked like a waterfall.
The is a 6' wide trench that slopes down all around the sides and back of the garage then discharges into a 4" PVC pipe that ends in the ditch along the road. Water was coming out that end at almost 3" of the pipe!

The applesauce adventure went well and there was a slowcooker batch of apple butter in the pot for overnight when I moseyed back on home. Today is a MORF run and then..., firewood, firewood, firewood!

Couldn't get the old battery out because the POS terminal bolt is so corroded.C and I managed to make a gap between the nut and terminal but that's it.
HTG is coming over this morning to see if he can back it off. If not, I'll hand him the hacksaw to cut the bolt. Either was, I'm going to need a new bolt and nut. So I'm off to Lowe's.
