Okay, on that I am brewing another pot o' coffee!
We got rain last night even though the weather people said no chances of rain. I am thinking that is how the snow season may go as well.
We (DH and I) plus many others, are looking forward to wrestling season. The Championships will be in IN assuming we do not get snowed in, in Gunnison, CO of all places, for the Regionals in MARCH. Who plans these things???!!!!
Anyway, back to firewood and tree cutting.

M is coming over this morning so we can pick up our dog food order.
I bought 153#. About 11 weeks worth.

We got some concerning news today. The guy we (and a bunch of other people) buy our dog food blends from has sold his house and they don't have a new place purchased yet! Holy crap! He will need a big out building to put the freezers, grinder, bagger in not to mention facilities for processing the animals.

I immediately hollered out to him "do you have any grinds left after filling the Aug orders"?

He answered "probably but only beef/tripe".

I told him we'd empty his freezers for him after all the orders are delivered.

I was! Didn't even get out of the car when we did the pickup. M handled it all. And when we got back to my house, I started taking three, 3# bags at a time down to the freezer in the basement while she loaded her car then just waited for her to bring the boxes down and unloaded them.

My leg/ankle were a little more 'vocal' this morning so I have decided not to take the girls out today to give it a rest.

Happy Sunday! This weekend was our town’s annual whoopdedoo and 150th anniversary. We were gone visiting the trio of granddaughters Thursday through yesterday, so only participated in today’s festivities - sweet corn feed and parade. It was sunny and 83.

Getting my kitchen ready to process sweet corn tomorrow or Wednesday. I have inservices all day on Tuesday, so that’s out. I’m hoping to freeze dry some. I’ve read that that’s really good.

I plan to open the chick doors to the brooder today to let the 3MCs out. I hope that Savannahs 3 boys are too big to squeeze in there.
