When I went out to the pond this afternoon, I saw the bullfrog snag a smaller northern green frog by the back leg. YES, I did harass that fat bastard until he let the smaller frog go. And I do appear to be down one goldfish from last year. He's going to be removed and taken across the river to a wild pond.

Good morning! Coffee brewed and tea water hot!
I just had to go outside and absorb some of the crazy bright moonlight. It is in the 40's, not too bad for a fall early morning.

You're up early.

My doctors nurse has started me on a new combo to help manage the pain. I'm off the meloxicam and back on the gabapentin and she added in diclofenac. I take the gabby and diclo 2x per day. She didn't like me taking ibuprofen with the meloxicam and said that I can add Tylenol if I'm having a particular rough patch. But she also said it may take a few weeks for it to really start working. I'm willing to give it a try but told her I'm going on a cruise in a month and may need another steroid step down pack. We also talked about the possibility of doing the "Shot" if none of this works after a few weeks. That would probably have to happen after I got back because it would take time to get the authorization. I'll have to see how this goes.

Played miniature golf today. After we got the balls and clubs the guy said,”If the ball goes into the retention basin come and get another. There is an alligator there. “ We saw it Made my day.
