Ya think?!
This is for the trip to Alaska?
What is your itinerary?
Yes. My itinerary is to have a crap load of fun!

We stop at Juneau (whale watching excursion), Skagway (train ride into the back country), cruise Glacier Bay, Ketchikan (hike through nature preserve), Victoria BC (shuttle tour at night then a short time to roam around a bit before embarking).
I already started packing.

I also got caught doing a happy dance at work when telling a co-worker about my pending trip.

Well, yeah!
Do you fly west to catch the cruise ship?
Yes. I fly into Seattle Friday. Cruise leaves Saturday. I have all ground transportation secured except from the hotel to the pier. I think I'm going to take a Tram in. It will go slower than a shuttle and I'll get to see more sights.

Hubby made it home safely from Colorado. He said that except for the Chicago area, the driving is easy, just long. And the seat in the car is uncomfortable.

Yeah, when you take a car for a test drive, unless it's REALLY bad, you don't get a sense of how comfortable or un the seats are. That fact doesn't show up in 10-15 minutes. Sometimes not in an hour. I agree with him though: our car is not a good long distance ride.

I'll tell him to drive the Jeep when he goes to NC next month to visit his dad for Thanksgiving. He says that seat is fine. I'm not a fan, but I'm not going. I remember a long ride in years past, and my legs going numb.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
I did a day of doc appt driving for my friend yesterday.
She has had a 3 week set back on her knee recovery and is back to using the old blue wheelchair because she fell, outside by her car when they were doing a beef pick-up. Ugh... Winter is coming!
I had "The Talk" with her about signing up for the ability to call for help when alone or away from the house, perhaps no cell phone handy. I also will have, "The Talk," with her DH about a driveway spur that is straight out and maybe a 2 ft rise instead of a 12 ft ridiculous rocky snake path rise. Or they can buy a Sno-cat...

When we went to Alaska there was a shuttle to pick us up at the airport to get to the hotel and then another to pick us up from the hotel to the ship.

@DobieLover ---Enjoy your trip.

How long are you going for?

We went for 14 days.
