Cold and rainy here so there is also some hot coffee!
I made lasagna last night with the last ground elk meat package. I think my neighbor will be having a good hunting season and he usually shares a few packages of deliciousness with us.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

We saw 5 humpback whales yesterday! 3 were feeding together. You'll have to zoom in. Some are just the stunning views. I watched a lot through my binoculars.

But most special and spectacular of the day, I saw a whale breach!! It was over in a second but such an amazing thing to see in person!!

Today is the train ride into the back country in Skagway.
The wind chill is subzero. I guess I'll wear a coat today. I brought one yesterday but never wore it. I was fine. It was about 30.
