BYC Café

Did you used to live up here?
Your "SE" location doesn't really tell us much ;)
Yes, a northern native. Moved to support family. Will move back someday - my goal anyway.

We would stand on the deck and look west and watch storms come in. Except for tornadoes - I'd run to the basement until the threat was over. They terrified me. But not nearly as much as hurricanes, I've learned.

Good afternoon, Cafe. I had to make a MORF run to bring him something to eat. Apparently while we were traveling, his brain tumor started affecting his walking and memory skills, so I will help with his doc appts if his other friend needs back-up. Nothing like jumping back into the fire!
I am grabbing an afternoon cup-o-joe!

Now, we are having humid, blasted sunshine & hot weather. By midday I will feel crispy if I go outdoor. The humidity is a sign that rain is building and coming anytime too. We are to expect lots of rain & flash flooding this season.
Humid hot weather creates lot of flies in my chicken runs, I can hear them Buzzing loudly.
With all the discomfort weather, I feel a bit cooler seeing Christmas stuff from the USA on our TV with snow, people wearing big coats, and generally looking very cold while we are sweating. :)

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is now ready too.

I fell asleep at 10:30. Woke at 1:00. Gave up after 30 minutes of tossing and turning and went to the living room to read. Fell back to sleep at 4:00. Back up at 6:00 (the Bella's morning "feed me" serenade), I'm off to a fine start on my weekend.
Hopefully, I will make good progress on the gym build today. I know that will lift my spirits and hopefully settle my mind.
