Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It is 3F and we have a foot of snow, more to fall on both fronts.
There is banana bread made with some almond flour and chia seeds if you need the calories to burn to keep warm.
The day with MORF went well. We got some shopping done for the humans, Cows, and poultry and then went for a beer to celebrate being over halfway through treatment. He is doing well with the radiation but the steroids they put him on are messing with his sleep.
I have 3 days of hibernation and then Tues will be another MORF run.

On the list: grownie cake, a frittata, roasted potatoes, and dog cookies.
What do you put in the dog cookies and what the hell is a grownie cake?!

I'm also making a frittata. And making marinade for some grilled chicken breast, that outstanding mustard marinade for a large salmon steak, roasting butternut squash and Brussel's sprouts and making a salad. I should be in good shape foodwise for the cold snap.

I already spiked the fermenting broiler mash with probiotics/electrolytes and will clean and fill their waterer tonight. I have to fill the watering can in the shower when it get into the single digits because my frost free spigot will still freeze up the valve handle.
Everyone made it through the last cold snap just fine. I'll have to leave the nest box heaters on around the clock to save my eggs.
