BYC Café

Hey good morning Cafe!
We have the same problem with Mocha here.
Good boy for most leave anything on the counter he will
surf it.
Stands still have his feet hosed when muddy.
Stands perfect to groom him.
Hand dog dryer no problem.
I kinda had a clue what I was in for.

Good Morning,
Kettle is starting...since I woke at 5am, I only hear 1 sneeze, I have yet take my sick rooster out of the box, he is quiet. I have to attend to my morning chicken tasks first then sick rooster next.

Sourland warned me of the high risk of the poultry market, but off I went just to see what it is like, and I self inflicted by got a sick rooster home with me. He was not the rooster I wanted at all, but I felt sorry for him and off I got him. Now I am thinking of his illness infecting my flock, transmitting through me going between them and the long term affect for my whole flock & him if I decided to not euthanize him.

@Eggcessive has given me a lot of information to think about and what the next step be.

This sick rooster has not half a cm of meat, his body is so tiny, all just bones and skin....I live in the city so butcher animals for food is not visible, out of sight out of mind kind of thing, and here I am deciding a life of one which I have done a few times already with my sick chickens, but it still hurts each time.

Have a great day all.
