It was a nice cool down up here. We went to Estes Park for a dinner. Haven't been there in forever.
DS@ is heading off to the Walden fire tomorrow and I have to go pick up his car from the fire station.
DS# is up in Montana, haying and working cattle for a few months. I might be getting a new horse, ... we will have to see.

Wow, exciting stuff! My brother left earlier this month for an internship in Texas all summer, something with an oil company or engineering or something, I don't know. He's going to be a junior in college in the fall. And my other brother just left I think today to go to Wyoming and California for a month. Don't know exactly but something for grad school, maybe another internship or research or something, at the geology schools out there. He says it's beautiful. I've never been.

Margie, I know that a persons horse is special, I don't know what I will do when my Caddy ages out or up and dies on me (she is in her mid 20's).
Are you getting ahead of the power curve in the replacement training? It took over a year to get Caddy where I was real comfy on her, and another year to finish her off. Da*m it all, do I even want to go thru all that again?

Good luck with a new horse!

Good morning, another day of work ahead of me. I should be thankful, in July I'll be working three days a week most of the month. Lots of vacation requests. It will b a pretty busy month.

Dad and my uncle are heading out on their annual fishing trip on Saturday. I am making them cookies to take, other than the oatmeal (which are Dad's favorite) not sure what I'll be baking...
