So sorry.

Me too - for myself. 3 F this morning with wind chills of -20 F and the 'promise' of more snow tonight. This cold is unusual for where I live. Last year we went to the South Pacific for 3 weeks to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Oh for the means to do that every year.

Morning all!

I'm sitting here having my breakfast - 2 fried eggs on toast (buttered, of course.)

And I'm wondering - I have this breakfast probably 5 days a week, every week.

Am I unusual in eating so many eggs, or is everyone 'chicken' doing the same thing?

The rest of my extended family (non chicken owners) only eat eggs once a fortnight or so.

So....how often do you eat your eggs? And even better - how do you like them cooked?

I eat eggs nearly everyday and like them cooked almost any way. I hard boil them when I take them to work, but love better fried or scrambled.

I am dreading when Winter rolls around and I don't have any fresh eggs. I will most likely have to eat the nasty store bought kind, which in my opinion don't even come close to fresh eggs for flavour.

If I do have to resort to store bought eggs though, I will make sure to buy free range only. We still sell cage eggs here in Australia (I presume you guys do too in the US?) which I think is abhorrent.

Those poor birds have no life, no freedom, no grass under ther feet. I find it all very sad, especially since seeing my own little fuzzle-butts roaming happily around our 5 acre block, and I can't support an industry like that. If needs be, I'd rather go without if I can't find free range eggs over Winter.
