Silver Spotted Tiger Moth, similar to the Douglas Fir Tussock Moth, (both poisonous with the hairs on it ) and it is in epic proportions throughout the forest. I don't know about the tree cutting this year....
How bad is that?
I don't know why it didn't quote you

Good morning. Twinkle toes has been deciding that 5:30 is the new wake up time at our house. I think I am perpetually tired. Cold and rainy again, but we should be seeing a warmup soon.
The deer have all disappeared, not surprising. The turkeys have also seemed to have moved on. But three Sandhill cranes have showed up and the are fun to watch!
I have been walking the dogs more, and I swear, Lucy is finding every dead thing within a mile radius of our house! So far: two dead birds, a deer part, some cow part, a dead frog? Really? She thought that was fun to fling in the air and play with! And three dead some type of weasel-type animal heads. Of course these are treasures to her, so getting them away from her can be quite a challenge. And once I do the only safe place to put them are either in the trees or on a fence post. I feel like I'm warding off evil spirits!
Not much else going on, other than more cookie baking!
Have a great day everybody!
Oh wow! lol
