BYC Café

Thanks for the coffee Scott. Rumors of rain today. Thank goodness I mowed the yard yesterday. Starter's out on the riding mower so I had to had to use the push mower. Ugh. Gotta get that starter off and have it rebuilt.

Mornin', y'all!:frow

Thanks for the coffee, Scott. I think I'll use it to wash down some pain relievers; I don't know what I've done to my knee, but it's not happy with me today.

Cloudy, muggy, with some chance of precip today. We've definitely gotten through the dry "Rain? I'll believe it when I see it" spring pattern and moved into the summertime "gee, the one day of the week that there isn't rain in the forecast, and look at what it's doing" pattern.:barnie The time of year when the tourists are almost as thick as the mosquitoes.

@pertnear09 We have a Kobalt electric push mower that my husband calls "the Barbie mower." Other professionals may sneer at electric tools, and I'm sure employees would tear them up in a heartbeat, but this thing has held up to what we do with it, and it only weighs maybe 40 lbs. Easy, peasy to push around; I actually prefer pushing it to the noise and exhaust of the riding mower.

Be my luck I'd run over the cord and fry myself.

My finger joints have been hurting lol i feel so old :lau

Is it possible to get nerve damage from cutting your nails wayy too short and all the skin around them and cause your finger joints to hurt really bad?? And do that regularly? Lol I'm probably just being a hypochondriac though.

Well, Morning! I was all ready for the shearer to show but there was a miscommunication between the Mom and the kids, so we are on for tomorrow at 8AM, before the T-storms start brewing. The Mom was very apologetic and so I guess I will bake bread today instead. Tomorrow will be another day....
