You guys wear me out, I think I'm going back to bed. Have been having vertigo since Tuesday morning and the earliest DR. appt. I could get is next Wednesday. Last night got trapped in my bedroom -the lights were out and I couldn't find the wall switch.

With the room spinning even in the dark, I kept going to the wrong wall. Every time I thought I had reversed the path, I kept ending up against the same(wrong) wall. What a weird feeling, thought I would never get out.

I've had vertigo before but never as pronounced as this time. Googled Mayo clinic, etc. and felt reassured I had a benign type, just vertigo and nausea. Then all the doubts have started streaming in . Haven't ridden senior bus all week because they have a fit if anyone falls on the bus, so no groceries-nothing. Tired of eating eggs, beans and ran out of milk too. I think this may be Ice cream withdrawal......

That must have been kind of scary DD. Hope it clears up soon so you can get loaded up on ice cream!

That must have been terrifying! I hope that it goes away soon.

Both lol but nah, I woke up that early. I had to pee and also the dog was barking at the deer haha but I fell back asleep. I did wake up again at 7:45 though but didn't actually get up till10 minutes later the smoke detector went off around then too and wouldn't shut off. anyway, I had a 9am class so I had to get up. Although I didn't actuallt leave till 9 or a couple minutes later and even though it's only 10 mins away managed to be 20 mins late by the time I parked and walked in the firsr day.. bad, I know. but I know the professor and have taken like all his classes hahah he's wicked chill. Still rude though, especially the first day. I wanted to at least be on time the first day but I used my phone a while before getting ready plus was frazzled by the deer and smoke detector but mostly I stayed up till 2am, got up early, and normally don't get up till 11 or 12 thankfully he had not started yet though, just how to contact him/grading, etc., which I already know. I'll be on time next time though. I need to work harder on it. I'm also taking an English class this semester so I have to be on time to that since it's not him. Although I have had her once before a few years ago and she is really nice. But ANYWAY. Sorry for the novel lol I woke up that early

Wow that is terrifying! Hope you can get it solved soon and also get some ice cream!

Can't believe I haven't checked in here for a few days! Have been watching Irma creep in, wondering if the house we rented for Thanksgiving week in the Keys will still be standing. Wondering where she will hit, and hoping all those in her path stay safe.

I was reciting my tale of woe Re: being unable to find light switch in the wall due to vertigo attack. My brother didn't waste a minute before asking "Don't you have flashlight on your night stand?" Duh, I don't have one flashlight on my night stand, I have TWO.

Big deal with the room spinning, I probably couldn't have found the nightstand either.
Hopefully I can get groceries with him on weekend.
