This fall is one for the record books or something. End of October and I'd say 75% of the area trees have not started dropping leaves. Nov.1 our village switches to snow plows.
No snow yet - thank goodness but, it's going to be a real mess if tons of leaves end up buried.

South Eastern area, do you know Ontario well? I've lived in this province my whole life but I did half a summer in Alberta planting trees
I'm originally from Toronto. Lived in Ottawa for several years. Had a cottage just outside of Peterborough. Worked at their tv station for a summer.
 
On second thought if the leaves all get buried under snow, I don't have to out and rake them. Pity!o_O
I have been raking them up and dumping them in the runs for the chickens. Hopefully they eat the bugs hiding in there.
