Always heard people have trouble with corn on the cob.

I do not have trouble with corn on the cob but rarely eat corn of any variety only nutritional studies done on corn was for pig last I knew I don't oink

Yep, I'm back. Trying to get caught up on all the posts and failing miserably. We had a great trip (bit of Utah, mostly north Arizona, a tiny bit of New Mexico and some of western Colorado). Have to say...I LOVE north AZ, beautiful country, ready to go back anytime!

This struck me as a little bit funny - I have sugar snaps in pots in the greenhouse, and I'm just hoping they'll get busy and start blooming, so I can get something from them before the hot weather kills them off!

they actually grow well even in tiny pots. We tried that one year... it was fun.

Still getting too cold here to start any seeds in pots. I've got a little poly greenhouse that I'm going to put on my closed in porch. It's still getting down to the minus teens (c) at night, so it'll be a week or two before I can get started.

Minus teens? Brrr!!! In the mid 60's and 70's this week. I know, doesn't seem fair but then we'll be baking in July and August.

No spring here yet either but it's coming.

And so is a greenhouse for the golf course (where it seems we live at in the summer)! DH ran into an acquaintance yesterday that wants to get rid of his so we're going to set it up down at the course and try to get some herbs and salad greens grown for the restaurant. I'm excited!
