Oh so sorry about your quail @CapricornFarm :hugs That's so sad, have an extra drink for all of us.

Just to share the other spectrum of dogs-in-stores, I saw this exact sign at the Canadian Tire last week. I know many of them have had this policy for years, but now a lot more are promoting it.

As for doctors, I was on a waiting list for a really long time, just got a doctor last year. A younger guy, and so far I like him. So hopefully he doesn't move away and I'll have the same doctor for many many years!

Oh and happy Saturday everyone,

I forgot it was st. Patty's day, but my big plan for today is to clean the first floor of my house so it's no longer the disaster it is. I'm glad we're not obsessed with cleaning...but tidy would be nice. Wish me luck, going to put on some tunes and see what I can get accomplished in two hours.

Good morning. Happy St. Patty's Day.
I brought some green beer. I have been swilling it down trying to drown my sadness. Out of 18 juvenile quail shipped, i have one live one. I have named her Solo. View attachment 1299545
She is in the spare bedroom for now.
I am going to a swap in hopes of finding quail to keep her company.

crap Cap after all that one is alive I am so sorry

Such a sad deal. Thanks for the coffee NFC

Didn't go see the movie, I was crying too much over the trailers.:hit

Sad but good

it was a great movie we can all agree .. Back home had a great visit with seeing my friend the Doc I went to before moving out here was going to him since 2013 then tried the local Doc what a pompous you know what so called the clinic see if Doc had time he called me said of course I do

I loved it as a kid

I had favorite doctors too, 2 retired and 2 passed away. Haven't found any since that come anywhere near the quality of care or compassion. The ones that didn't rush any exam and let me read off my lists of owies and everything else.

So sorry cap :(

I had an amazing one once. When you had an appointment with him you knew he'd be running at least an hour and a half late. He took time... he would even visit his patients in nursing homes and hospitals every morning. He knew his stuff too. The most amazing part? He was young!

I wish I could have moved him with me to Seattle when I left Ottawa.

I like that sign!

Also random side note, I looked up service dog vests on Amazon and it is amazing how many there are for so cheap! Service dog IDs/badges too (which aren't required and connect to a fake registry) and patches. Most of what I found were harnesses not vests, though I did find a couple vests, and they're like $20! One was like $13! Some say they ran really small though but some say they're really well made and almost as good quality as more expensive ones. But with sooooo many harnesses for $20 and free Prime shipping.... it's no wonder there's so many freaking fakes! And some people even buy the ADA cards and say like oh I used to get questioned but now I don't (with a Chihuahua) or I use these to take my ESA with me, I just hand them a card. ESAs HAVE NO ACCESS RIGHTS. It even says it on the card LOL

Anyway, my point for bringing this up is I even saw one review that said I used to have to leave my dog at home if it was hot outside but now I can take her everywhere with me! :barnie

Of course some real teams do buy them because if you are low on money, they work just as well as a $50, $70, or over $100 vest or harness, and/or they are also great as a cheap, temporary vest for puppies and dogs in training so you don't have to buy the expensive one multiple times, but still. It makes it way way WAYYYYY too easy to make your dog a fake service dog sadly! :(

And so many reviews bought it for their little Yorkie, their Chihuahua (one bought 2 for their 2 Chihuahuas), etc. And someone bought 2 for their Labs and another bought one for their Pit looking dog and another for their Lab. Seem like fakes to me....

Now that said, I try not to judge and some people DO use small dog breeds, especially for medical alert dogs because you really don't need a big dog for that and some people prefer small dogs, but who has two service dogs? I even saw some saying they bought it for their two service dogs but I'm like who has multiple.

Most people only have one? Or maybe one working one and one in training if you're phasing the other out. But I didn't think people had two SDs?

What are hot pets?

Overheated ones I assume

:yuckyuck

Though I expect the business owners are talking about animals left outside on the sidewalk or in cars while the owners "run in for just a minute."

Yupp exactly! And people have been known to break windows haha
