Yes, let's hope. I need to catch up on the reading since Thursday. I almost didn't make it back home last night. There was a thunder/snow storm that caught everyone off guard with a foot of heavy wet slush that was almost impossible to drive through, almost... Thank goodness it was Sunday evening or it would have been much worse with the cars stuck.

Looks like it should be a lovely week this week, with lots of sun. Winch is really good news 'cause I have a months worth of laundry to do That's pretty much going to be the theme os this week - laundry, collect sap, and try to clean up before my parents come visit.

Margie, so glad you didn't become one of the few and far between stuck cars last night - that sounds horrendous to drive in.

Thanks for the coffee, NFC. I'm gonna need it to even get one eye open. The forecast is for rain for the next 3 days, with a possibility of snow before all is said and done (though experience tells me that if they say the s-word this far out, it probably won't happen).

Ah, well. Charrrrrrrge!

Around here, I think there was a 20 minute heads up about the storm. LOL!
I have a fire going in the wood stove, 17 degrees.
DS$ got 2nd in the Rocky Mtn Nationals. He was very happy as his goal was to try and place in it for the first time. He is safely stashed down at the OTC for the week and then more wrestling this weekend, but I have the week off from driving and I think the weather is warming up. It would be a good time to have new lambs, hint, hint, Mother Nature!
I will brew another pot de cafe.
