I’m joining the early crowd since DH is taking a job at UNM that starts at 5:30 every morning. May as well shift my brain and work earlier, too.

Coffee will definitely help the process.

Looks like more sun for me today, and it's supposed to get above freezing so hopefully the sap will start running again. It's a slow start to spring but I don't think we'll have more then one or two weeks left in the syrup season.

I'm running out of eggs . We were definitely overrun when they started laying again in February then I started selling two weeks ago and now I find myself with too few! I'm really eggcited to be a eggtrepreneur though.

I do not sell eggs any more since I got busted by the compliance officer! I did get five eggs from five hens yesterday. The other group laid two out of four. Plenty of eggs for three of us.

And a lot less work to take car of only "six" hens....love chicken math....
