Our lot used to be perfect for Easter because it was so big so my dad would hide them all over the yard and around the house, in the woods, etc. Well, not deep in the woods, but like just barely or in a tree, in the dog house, on the stone wall by the basement, on fences, in bushes. Etc. Etc. It was awesome lol cause they'd be all over the whole yard. One year we had all our cousins from PA out and had a big huge Easter Egg hunt

I want to know how the tick made it all the way up to his abdomen.

Seems to be they like 'belly fat'. I have friends who have had them embedded in far more sensitive areas. I hope that they keep choosing my belly. How did it do it ? Tighty whities, long underwear, Henley, socks tucked over the longjohns = it had to climb up to my neck and then crawl back down to the delicious belly fat. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Ticks go amazing distances pretty quickly! I just dug one out of my shoulder and i was out shopping all day. Just a bit of walking in the woods to check the animals.

Never had a tick on me. After all the hunting and fishing. All my hunting companions searching and finding ticks on themselves but I never did.

I always got way more ticks on me when working in the yard or the garden than I ever did when walking through the fields and hunting. (back when I lived in Texas... that was pre-fire ants too)
